Luis José Gómez Mota

Luis José Gómez Mota is a lawyer with a specialization in Administrative Law and experience in public affairs, democratic advocacy, citizen participation and organizational strengthening across Colombia and the region. His work articulates institutional-relations strategies, public narratives, positioning and spokespersonship with political, social and media actors.
He has led public relations and served as Colombia coordinator for the NGO Plan País, with institutional representation, program coordination and articulation with civil-society organizations, international cooperation and public institutions. He has supported political-communication and reputation-management processes, including electoral-campaign stages, and is founder and president of the Fundación Yo Estoy Aquí, leading social, educational and youth-leadership projects.
As a columnist and content creator he has taken part in opinion and public-debate spaces — including La Silla Vacía and El Espectador — and hosts the podcast «Segunda Primera Vez» on current affairs, democracy, leadership and citizen participation. He is currently Director of Institutional Relations at GOVERNA.
